Dear Valued Patients and Families,

In light, of the recent outbreak of the coronavirus, recommendations regarding social distancing is probably the best mode of prevention and minimizing the impact on our society. I have decided that for the health of our patients and employees we will limit the need for in person visits. We are committed to minimizing the impact of this on maintaining the health or our patients. We will be reaching out to you for scheduling virtual visits using video conferencing, on your prior scheduled visit date, to maintain continuity in your health care plan.

  1. Device checks can be arranged using remote transmissions and we will have a follow-up teleconference visit to discuss results and also any updates needed for you.
  2. In office visits will be limited to doing needed procedures (echocardiogram, stress test monitor hookup etc…) to maintain slower traffic in the office and maintaining good social distancing.
  3. New patient and follow-up visit will be done via tele conference first to determine need for in-office meeting.
  4. Receiving and answering phone calls, Medication refill request will continue as prior.
  5. Patients that are scheduled for procedures in hospital or surgery center will be contacted the week of their surgery for any cancellations.

If you have any questions or concerns, we are available to help. Wishing you good health and safety.

Dr. Bhakta and Staff.
